Q: How do we hear about your public courses?

We announce public training dates on our social channels and newsletter. If you’d like to be notified, you can follow @glowmetrics or subscribe to our newsletter. Otherwise, just get in touch and we’ll let you know when new dates are scheduled.

Q: How is training different from your consultancy or ongoing support?

Training is focused on building skills and understanding - teaching your team how to work with the tools and data. Consultancy and ongoing support are more about us doing the work with or for you (e.g. setting up tracking, building dashboards, managing campaigns). Many clients choose a mix of both.

Q: Do you offer in-person training, online training, or both?

Both. We’re happy to run sessions on-site with your team, fully remote over video, or a blend of the two. For remote sessions, we keep things interactive with Q&A, live demos and practical exercises rather than long lectures.

Q: What level of knowledge do people need before attending?

We can design sessions for complete beginners, more experienced users, or a mix (with separate tracks if needed). The important thing is that we agree the level upfront so we pitch it correctly and everybody benefits.

Q: Can you tailor training to our specific setup?

Yes. Wherever possible, we use your own accounts, site and data as examples, so the training feels relevant and immediately useful. We’ll discuss access and any privacy considerations ahead of time so everyone’s comfortable.

Q: Why work with GlowMetrics for Digital Training?

Because we train on the same platforms we use every day for client work. That means you get practical, up-to-date guidance, not recycled slides. We’re also used to working with mixed groups - from people who are brand new to analytics to specialists who want to go deeper.

Q: How do you decide what to optimise first?

We look at a mix of impact and effort: where money is being spent, where users are dropping off, and where changes are easiest to implement. That might mean focusing first on a key landing page, a high-spend campaign, or a core SEO opportunity - whatever is most likely to move the needle for you in the near term.

Q: What if we don’t have huge volumes of traffic or conversions?

You don’t need massive volume to benefit from optimisation. We’ll be realistic about what’s possible, choose tests that can give you useful signals with the data you have, and focus on sensible changes rather than overcomplicated experiments.

Q: Do we need a separate CRO or testing tool to get started?

Not necessarily. We can start with simple tests based on your existing setup (for example, using your CMS, basic split URLs or low-friction tools). If a dedicated testing platform makes sense later, we can recommend options - but it’s not a blocker to beginning optimisation.

Q: Where does SEO fit into your overall services?

SEO and organic search live primarily within Optimisation & Testing, where we focus on improving how people find you and how your key pages perform. SEO is also considered at the Digital Strategy stage (as part of your channel mix) and touched on in Creative (on-page content and messaging), but the hands-on work largely sits here.
