Good Law Project is a non-profit that holds power to account and fights for a fairer, greener future with people-powered justice.
Our work alongside Good Law Project has taken many forms, including Google Tag Manager consultancy, SEO training, and reporting on custom data blends in Looker Studio.
One of the key aspects of the early stages of consultancy was to ensure that Good Law Project could be confident that their main KPIs such as donations and newsletter sign-ups were tracked correctly in Google Analytics, and ensure that these were correctly attributed back to campaigns and other marketing activities.
Search Engine Optimisation was another crucial area of digital transformation for Good Law Project, and we were able to deliver two in-depth training sessions that took the team through an introduction to the basic principles of SEO, focusing on keyword research, on-page SEO, and link building, through to more technical aspects of the practice, such as website structure, speed scores, and the best tools for tracking and analysis.
We also created new Looker Studio dashboards for the team, one focused on offering a streamlined and customised view on their GA4 data, and another on their acquisition platforms including Meta, Mailchimp, and Salesforce. This acquisition-centric dashboard made use of blended data sources to uncover and automate previously manually calculated metrics like Cost Per Donation, Cost Per Direct Debit, and Cost Per Signup.
This allowed the team to more efficiently report on and analyse their marketing efforts, and better identify areas of focus and optimisation, as well as providing a foundation upon which to create a more robust blended data solution moving forward.
