Winner: Best Use of Data at the Irish Digital Media Awards 2024

We worked with Generation to support their switch from Universal Analytics to GA4 by first completing an audit of their existing Google Analytics setup, identifying areas for improvement and to understand the scale of the current configuration.

Once the audit was complete, we worked together to document the most important KPIs across their global team (18 countries) to create a Measurement Plan for GA4, including remapping old UA events to GA4’s new naming conventions (i.e. event names and parameters).

On approval, we then implemented the new GA4 tags via Google Tag Manager, including 25+ new tags, bringing a new centralised approach to data collection using one GA4 property rather than individual properties for all countries.

Post-project, we were on hand to answer any queries for a number of months to ensure a smooth transition to GA4.
