Digital Training

Capability Building: Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager / Google Ads / Looker Studio / SEO

Help your team feel confident with the tools and the numbers.

Great strategies and campaigns only go so far if your team doesn’t feel comfortable using the platforms behind them.

Our Digital Training services are designed to build confidence and capability across your team — from hands-on specialists to senior stakeholders who just want to understand what they’re looking at.

We provide bespoke corporate training, occasional public courses (announced on our socials), and one-to-one consultancy across tools like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, Google Ads, Looker Studio and SEO.

Everything is practical, friendly and rooted in real-world use, not theory.

What is Digital Training? [TL;DR]

  • Teaching You Tools: Helping you understand how GA4, GTM, Google Ads, Looker Studio and SEO actually work.

  • Explaining Your Data: Showing people how to read reports, spot issues and ask better questions.

  • Embedding Best Practice: Sharing simple, repeatable approaches your team can use after we’ve gone.

Why Choose GlowMetrics For Digital Training?

We don’t just train on these tools – we use them every day in live client work.

Practitioners, not presenters

Everything we teach is based on real implementations, real campaigns and real reporting setups.

Tailored to your team

We design sessions around your goals, your current setup and your team’s starting point – not a generic syllabus.

Flexible formats

From half-day workshops to multi-session programmes and 1:1 consultancy, we’ll find a format that works for you.

What Does Digital training Involve?

Bespoke Corporate Training

Most of our training is built around the needs of a specific team or organisation.

We’ll work with you to:

• Clarify what you want people to be able to do after the training.

• Agree which tools and topics to focus on (GTM, GA4, Google Ads, Looker Studio, SEO, or a mix).

• Tailor examples and exercises to your actual accounts and data where possible.

• Choose the right level for each group (introductory, intermediate, advanced).

• Decide on the format: in-person, live online, or a mix.

Sessions are interactive, with plenty of time for questions and live walkthroughs.

Tool-Specific Workshops

Sometimes you just need your team to “get” a particular platform.

Google Tag Manager: Understanding containers, tags, triggers and variables; how to publish safely; how GTM fits into your tracking setup.

Google Analytics 4: Key reports, events and conversions, simple explorations, and how to answer common performance questions.

Google Ads: Campaign structure, keywords, bidding strategies, quality signals and how to read the numbers.

Looker Studio: Building and editing dashboards, connecting data sources and keeping things clear and maintainable.

SEO for marketers: How search works, on-page fundamentals, content considerations and where SEO fits in your wider plan.

One-to-One Consultancy & Coaching

Some people learn best by talking through their own questions one-on-one.

We offer:

• Individual sessions for marketers, analysts or founders who want tailored support.

• Screen-share walkthroughs of your actual accounts and reports.

• Time to dig into specific problems (“Why is this not tracking?” / “How should I structure this campaign?”).

• Follow-up actions and simple notes so you don’t have to remember everything on the spot.

It’s a mix of training and consultancy: part “show you how”, part “help you decide”.

Public Courses & Open Sessions

We also run occasional public training sessions that anyone can book onto.

These are ideal if:

• You’re a smaller business or solo marketer who doesn’t need a full bespoke programme.

• You want an overview of a tool before deciding what to invest in internally.

• You’d like to learn alongside people from other organisations.

We announce upcoming dates on our social channels and newsletter, with clear agendas and levels for each course.

Digital Training FAQs

How do we hear about your public courses?2025-11-27T11:20:01+00:00

We announce public training dates on our social channels and newsletter. If you’d like to be notified, you can follow @glowmetrics or subscribe to our newsletter.  Otherwise, just get in touch and we’ll let you know when new dates are scheduled.

How is training different from your consultancy or ongoing support?2025-11-27T11:18:48+00:00

Training is focused on building skills and understanding – teaching your team how to work with the tools and data. Consultancy and ongoing support are more about us doing the work with or for you (e.g. setting up tracking, building dashboards, managing campaigns). Many clients choose a mix of both.

Do you offer in-person training, online training, or both?2025-11-27T11:18:11+00:00

Both. We’re happy to run sessions on-site with your team, fully remote over video, or a blend of the two. For remote sessions, we keep things interactive with Q&A, live demos and practical exercises rather than long lectures.

Why work with GlowMetrics for Digital Training?2025-11-27T11:16:48+00:00

Because we train on the same platforms we use every day for client work. That means you get practical, up-to-date guidance, not recycled slides. We’re also used to working with mixed groups – from people who are brand new to analytics to specialists who want to go deeper.

Can you tailor training to our specific setup?2025-11-27T11:17:10+00:00

Yes. Wherever possible, we use your own accounts, site and data as examples, so the training feels relevant and immediately useful. We’ll discuss access and any privacy considerations ahead of time so everyone’s comfortable.

What level of knowledge do people need before attending?2025-11-27T11:17:47+00:00

We can design sessions for complete beginners, more experienced users, or a mix (with separate tracks if needed). The important thing is that we agree the level upfront so we pitch it correctly and everybody benefits.
